I am an independent award-winning filmmaker based in Berlin. Before enrolling in the Screen Based Media Program at Beuth University of Applied Sciences in 2012, I trained as a media designer for image and sound design at the public broadcasting corporation Südwestrundfunk. I have won several awards, including the Grimme Award  & Goldene Kamera Award for the web series "Germania" in 2018 and the 2nd place in a photojournalistic competition from the Berlin exhibition house C/O Berlin in cooperation with the Berlinale in 2014. As a creative director & writer, cinematographer and editor with a broad expertise in documentary formats, my clients include digital agencies, broadcasters, foundations, NGOs and artists.   

 

 

I am dedicated to making the media industry more inclusive of women* and non-binary people, especially those who are behind the camera. I believe that our lived experience and who we are as people influences the way we capture images and transmit them to the world.
